Re: Order for the most recent date

In the module settings be sure that after you select the sort column, then select the sort direction that you click "Add Sort Order".  Then after it is added you can click update.

If you do not perform the "Add Sort Order" step no changes will occur.

Re: Order for the most recent date

I'm having the same problem as the other guys.... sort isn't working at all.

I've made sure that I click "Add Sort Order", but all I can get is sorted by title, ascending.

Re: Order for the most recent date

Hi,

I updated the documents module yesterday to 04.00.00 on DNN 04.08.01.

The sort order does not work anymore. The listing is sorted by title whatever
sort order I try.

Regards
Ronny

Re: Order for the most recent date

In looking at the version 04.00.00 source, I can see that mobjDocumentList.Sort is never getting called in neither Page_Load nor in Page_PreRender as IsReadComplete is always set to true in LoadData. Therefore, the documents will always appear when initially loaded sorted by Title ascending. When user sorting is enabled, clicking on the datagrid columns does correctly resort the documents.

Re: Order for the most recent date

William,

Thank you for the detailed information, apparently that is a change that happened AFTER the last build that I have....I'll have to get with Chris Hammond, or another core team member to see what we can do, since I am not sure of how we can go about getting a fix out there......but I'll do everything i can!
