Event 4.1 and new database structure

Hello,

I give you some ideas for the new database structure of the events module 4.1 :

  • Subtitle : varchar, gives a short resume of the event
  • Link : for exemple a link to an external website or the official website of the event
  • Display End Time : True / False to choose to display or not end time for each event
  • Contact : Name + Phone Number --> the person to contact to have more informations about the event
  • Publication status : Published / Unpublished like the Announcements module : which gives the availability to write the description of a new event in several times

Tell me what you think about these?

Thank you

William

Re: Event 4.1 and new database structure

Nice suggestions. I have put them as an issue in Gemini for events, as an idea for the next version, see EVT-7877.

Ernst Peter
