Event List pulling from Master Calendar
I have an Event List pulling Events from a Master Calendar with several Sub Calendars.  The problem I am running into is I can't display the Events using:

Event Module Settings > Event List Settings > Select Number of Events

I set this to Next 5 events from current date within the next 365 days.  I get nothing.

Then I use:

Event Module Settings > Event List Settings > Selected Days

Set this to 0 days before current date 7 days after current date.  Everything works fine.  It pulls all the events from all the sub calendars.

Any ideas on why Select Number of Events won't work for me?  Is anyone else using this with sub calendars successfully?

Thanks

Re: Event List pulling from Master Calendar

I think I have the same problem. I have a 'Calendar' tab which is the only place I want to allow edits. I added another events module on the home page that I wanted to display the next 5 events, just like you. Nothing. I then set the one on the home page to Master and linked to the Calendar, but still nothing.

Did you resolve it over the last 3 weeks?

Thanks, Neil

Re: Event List pulling from Master Calendar

Hi Neil,

I'm still struggling with this issue.  The only thing I have thought of is maybe using an RSS feed from my Calendar, instead of using the list mode.  I really don't feel like doing this though.

If you only have one Calendar, you should be able to get it to work.

My setup is like this:

Calendars
Calendar(All Events) - Master Calendar
Computer Lab Calendar - Sub Calendar
Continuing Education - Sub Calendar
GRI Calendar - Sub Calendar
etc..

Homepage
Event List Module Pulling from Calendar(All Events) - Master Calendar   (DOESN't WORK!!!! GAHHHH) as long as I have it set to next # events.

If I would just pull from one of the sub calendars this would work, but not the master.

Hope this Helps
