Clicking event in month view just refreshes page, also can't switch to week/list view

I entered a lot of events in a calendar displayed in month view. Now when I click any one of them, the page refreshes but no event details are shown - the page is unchanged. I also notice that I cannot switch to list or week view - again the page refreshes but nothing happens.

I am using Events 3.3.8 on other sites with no problem - what could this be due to? The DNN version is 4.7.0.

Thanks

Sounds like you have turned DNN friendly URLs off, perhaps for a third party Friendly URLs provider. The Events module requires this setting to be turned on.

Re: Clicking event in month view just refreshes page, also can't switch to week/list view

I do have DNN friendly URLs turned off. This is deliberate as the sites have unicode characters in the page names (Hebrew & Japanese) and this breaks friendly URLs.

It looks like I will have to get another Events module unless anyone knows how friendly URLs can be turned on in sites with unicode characters in the page names.

I added a comment to EVT-5366 requesting that Events support non-friendly URLs.

Ernst Peter has put a comment saying it will be looked at in the release after next. First release is stabilisation only.

Cheers
