Date Changes to today when view is changed

I'm testing the beta and found that if you are on a date in the past or future (but not today) and you change the setting (event type) for the events you want to view on that date the calender defaults back to today.... so you now have to move back to the day you were previously viewing. maybe not a bug but a big annoyance.

Re: Date Changes to today when view is changed

Hi,

By event type, do you mean when you change category? Or do you mean when you change view from Month to Week view?

Cheers
Roger

Re: Date Changes to today when view is changed

It may be a result of the day click removed (EVT-7433) from the calendar?

Re: Date Changes to today when view is changed

That was my thought, and I can look at that this evening. But I wanted to understand what was the trigger for the problem.

Re: Date Changes to today when view is changed

I can see that sometimes when I change from Month View to Week View, then back to Month View again it loses which day is selected. This seems to be achieved through cookies. But I'm not sure the change we did is the cause. The problem is that sometimes it doesn't lose the date, and I'm not quite sure what the difference is.

So I'd like to be sure that this is the problem being highlighted, therefore I'm going to wait for further input before debugging further.
