Event not saving

I have set up a security group in dnn which has permission to edit an event calendar. They users get 'add event' link and can fill in the details but when they click save the event is not added to the database. Any ideas?

Re: Event not saving

What version of DNN and Events module are you using? Also what browser?

Thanks

Re: Event not saving

IE7. How do I find that out? It's pre-installed with web host. Can I get that info from the database?

Re: Event not saving

Do you have access to the Host logon account and Host Menu? The DNN version is shown under Host/Settings. The Module version is shown in Host/Module Definitions.

If you don't have access to Host, then I assume the DNN install and all the pre-installed modules should be supported for this type of thing by your hosting provider. I've not heard of anyone not being able to save an event, so wonder whether there is something peculiar to your hosting provider.
