Calendar showing the wrong todays date

The calendar is displaying the incorrect todays date.  The web sites date is correct but the calendar isnt.. I've set the calendar time zone to match the web sites but the date is still wrong.

My zone is +10

here is a url so you can see the problem and it should display the incorrect date for the next 16 or so hours.

Re: Calendar showing the wrong todays date

The calendar isn't visible on that page....

Events 4.0.1 - It's released !! - See the announcement
Events 4.0.2 - It's in the Release Process - Follow it
Requirements/Bugs - Submit them here - Gemini - Raise against project 'DNNP', and put 'Events' in the title.

I thinbk your problem is that the 'web site date' is using dnnCURRENTDATE, which I believe uses the browser date. Whilst the Event modules uses Now.Date() which uses the server date. Potentially this could be corrected to use the browser date as the source for figuring out the initial selection of day.

I've posted onto Gemini - EVT-7666

Re: Calendar showing the wrong todays date

Sorry about the calendar not showing,, Its now visible.   I no have tryed the xmod calendar and it also has the same problem with the date being one day out.  The date will be out of sync for another 7 hours then it will be in sync for a few hours the out of sync again.

The DNN calendar has the time zone selector just like the website and if both are getting the time from the server how can the times still be different?

Re: Calendar showing the wrong todays date

The point is the date showing below the Edmedia Australia logo is not coming from the server, it is coming from your PC. Well I think this is the case anyway.

The events calendar takes the date from the server. Your server, with webhost4life, is on the west coast of the US, which is presumably 16/17 hours behind you.

Cheers
Roger
