Hi Jack,

Just done some testing on 3.3.8 and 4.0.1. It looks to me like 4.0.1 will fix the problem. Basically 4.0.1 outputs the date the event was last updated as the Publish Date instead of the Start Date of the event (which is what is used in 3.3.8). Consequently when the event is updated, there will be a new publish date, and the search items get updated.

Roger,

   That's great news (I just read your reply above).  Is there some mechanism that a user like myself can be automatically notified via email when the Events Module 4.0.1 is released?  Alternatively, is there a target release date your aiming for? I just need a ballpark timeframe to flag myself to come back and look if an auto-notify mechanism doesn't exist.

Hi Jack,

I've noticed this afternoon that 4.0.1 is being dogfooded on dotnetnuke.com, see my post at the top of this forum. So hopefully release shouldn't be too far away, but is out of the project teams control. I would imagine that Ernst Peter will put an announcement in thsi forum when it is released (no auto notification there, unless you subscribe to the whole forum). I think he is also likely to send out a mail to anyone registered over at www.DNNEvents.net., so that may be your best route.
