Calendar not displaying

I have a 4.8.4 install and the calendar is not showing up: http://houseofhopelw-org.web02.winsvr.net/Calendar/tabid/56/Default.aspx is the temporary location. I'm not sure if it's the .4 release or the skin that's the problem. I've installed with on numerous sites without a problem. Any help on this one would be appreciated.

John

Hi John,

This looks to be some sort of css problem. The calendar is there, just very thin. I think you are using the FixedBlue theme, which should in theory have 100x100 squares, but there must be something overriding it. I would probably take a copy of the theme (make sure the folder and .css file have the same name), and add a width attribute to the .Event class which is the section of the calendar you are having a problem with.

Cheers
Roger

Re: Calendar not displaying

Roger,

You're a bit over my head there. Using Firebug to disect things in Firefox, Table id="Table1", lines up the calendar to the right of the pane. I'm thinking it's an issue with the skin but no response yet from them on it.

If you could give me a bit more info in a 1st grade level it would be great.

John

Re: Calendar not displaying

Hi John,

it seems to me that your skin disturbs the layout flow a bit in Firefox (the calendar is visible in IE and Opera), so that table id="Table1" gets shifted to the right. I played around with Firebug a bit, and I could fix it by adding a "clear:both;" to the definition of "Container-2 .containerpane" in the container.css.

I'm not sure however why this issue doesn't appear on your other pages. Do the Text/HTML modules on that pages use other containers?

Re: Calendar not displaying

That did the trick. Thanks for the huge help. I'll have to clue the skin authors in on that little ditty.

Thanks a bunch!

John
