Re: AOL Browser Compatability

Hi John,

Yep, that's the calendar I'm looking at, shows about 10px wide. List and week views are fine, but month view is wrong.

Cheers
Roger

Re: AOL Browser Compatability

I really don't see any place in the settings to adust that at all. Why would it show up that way? Shows fine in all other browsers. So, I need to adjust what? Where?

John

Re: AOL Browser Compatability

Hi John,

From what I can see you have the problem documented here - http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/20/threadid/237993/scope/posts/Default.aspx - in that there is some problem with your skin in IE. I can see the page dine in Firefox, but not in IE. Since AOL is based on IE (v6 I think), this is likely to be related. Have you tried putting an instance of the calendar on a page using the DNN Blue theme, then  viewing in AOL. If you can see it fine, then you know it is your theme.

Unfortunately I don't have an AOL account, and since you can only use the AOL browser when logged on as an AOL user, I can't test it. However, from what I have seen, if it works in IE6 it should work in AOL. On the users workstations where they can't see it in AOL, have you tried accessing the site in IE?

Cheers
Roger

Re: AOL Browser Compatability

Hi John,

By the look of you have an old/altered version of the fixedblue theme. The Event class is missing a Width attribute, which as standard is set to 95%. This attribute was added in version 4.0.1. If you are using a version older than 4.0.1 I strongly recommend you upgrade since 4.0.1 corrects approx 60 bugs over version 3.3.8.

Cheers
Roger
