How to modify event day layout

Hi guys, I would like to modify the events showing per day such that there will be a link break or single line space after each event so that they won't look so squeezy. Can anybody highlight which is the file I should look at to edit? I did try to play around with the css style but that doesnt apply to the layout I want.

I also tried to see if there is any place to insert a <br> both in EventMonth.ascx and EventDay.ascx but to no avail.

I am not sure if I understand corerctly what you want. Is there a site we can have a look at? Most styling is done in the .css, whereas the datagrid in a list display has it's own 'features'.

Re: How to modify event day layout

Edit the file /DesktopModules/Events/Themes/Default/Default.css.
Set the line height for the ListDate-class:

.ListDate{
line-height:4em;
}

Cheers,
Renato

Hey thanks for your help so much. I have attach the screenshot here. I find it quite crowded when a particular day have more than 2 events in the calendar.

My first hint affects only the list-/day view!

To get a separation line in month-view (your print-screen) between each event add this in your theme css-file:

.EventDayScroll div
{
border-bottom:1px solid black
}

BTW: Let me guess, this print screen comes from IE?? Have you ever had a look on your page with firefox? If you have a problem with line breaks in long titles add this:

white-space:normal;

to .Event-class

Cheers,
Renato
