EventList on home page SLOW!!!

I'm using Events Module 4.00.01 with the EventList on my home page with 70 events being displayed. I'm not using any of the fancy features, no recurring events, no notification, etc, etc. I recently modified the caching on the Page properties of the Event module from 0 to 42300 (1/2 day) and from then on, I have not been able to access my site due to timeouts. I am using GoDaddy.com as my hosting provider, however my other ASP.Net site is working just fine.

Any ideas?

Re: EventList on home page SLOW!!!

Where is the caching information stored for modules? I think I need to set my caching back to 0 for this page.

Thanks

Re: EventList on home page SLOW!!!

Okay, I think I figured it out. It took me awhile to figure out where the cache setting was in the SQL Tables, but I finally figure it out. I set the cache setting back to 0 and my home page magically appeared again.

For those interested, the CacheTime information is stored in the TabModuleSettings table. You'll have to know your module ID to find the row(s) your interested in. Then you can update the setting to whatever you deem necessary, in my case it was 0 seconds.

Proceed with caution however. Tweaking the SQL without backing things up can be hazardous.
