Re: Enrollee management - email registered people

Roger: I'm having some trouble already... I can't seem to the EventsSignupsGetEvent object you mentioned. I see "EventsSignups" but nothing about "GetEvent." Am I looking in the wrong place?

Thanks

Hi Josh,

Sounds like you are looking at the tables, not the stored procedures. If you are SQL Server Management Studio Express, you will find them under Programmability (I think, I don't have it open in front of me).

Cheers
Roger

Events 4.0.2 - It's released !! - See the annoucement.
Requirements/Bugs - Submit them here - Gemini - Raise against project 'DNNP', and put 'Events' in the title.

Re: Enrollee management - email registered people

I found what you were talking about (with a little help) but I'm not entirely sure what needs to be changed. I'm seeing this:

Select s.EventID, s.SignupID, s.ModuleID, s.Userid, s.Approved,
  --u.FirstName + ' ' + u.LastName as UserName,
  u.DisplayName as UserName, u.Email,
  s.EventTimeBegin,c.Duration,c.EventName,c.Importance,c.Approved as EventApproved,

...and I'm thinking that DisplayName needs to be changed to something but it looks like it is supposed to be displaying UserName and Email.

I'm not terribly familiar with SQL so forgiveme if these questions are silly. I'm getting input from another person who is more experienced with this.

Thanks

Hi Josh,

The problem here is that you are starting to play in potentially dangerous territory. I would suggest you have a chat with your guy who is supporting you, so you are clear what you are doing. My previous statement was along the lines of 'if you are familiar with stored procedures', and we are now getting beyond the point of where I'm prepared to provide support for. Sorry.

I'm pretty sure the functionality you are looking for will be in the nerxt major release, it's just a matter of waiting until then. You could also encourage your users to give themselves meaningful names .

Cheers
Roger
