Clickable dates?

I am noticing in the curent build of events, the Month view doesn't have clickable dates in each cell of the calendar grid.

In the previous version, they indeed were clickable.

Is there something I am missing or was that functionality removed?  And if so, are there plans to re-add it?

Thanks,

ju

Re: Clickable dates?

Hi Ju,

This was an intentional change, since the clickable dates didn't seem to be adding real functionality to the module, and were confusing to users in some situations. It would be possible to add this functionality back, with an option in module settings. Do you have a particular use case in mind, as to why it is useful?

Thanks
Roger

Re: Clickable dates?

I was told that previously, one could click on a date on the calendar, and after doing so, clicking "Add Event" would bring up the Edit Event screen with that date already selected.

Now, it is only possible to click Add Event alone, and the Edit Event screen appears with only the current date selected; you then have to choose or ener the date on that screen.  It does seem to be less convenient that way, but I can also see where the clickable dates would be confusing to some admins/users.

Not really sure what a solution would be there, other than maybe the option to toggle it.

- Ju
