Date format

Hi all!

I am managing a DNN website that is using Events Module.

By default dates in Events lists are presented in Amercina format MM/DD/YY and I would like to change to European format DD/MM/YY. I've been googling a bit about this subject but I haven't find any solution.

Could you please help me?

Thank you in advance,

Xavi

Re: Date format

Hi Xavi,

You need to install the appropriate language in the maion Host/Languages dialogue. You will then probably want to set the language as your portal default language in Admin/Site Settings. You will also need to change the language for each individual user, either temporarily using the flags at top right which should appear when you add the extra language, or permamently using the profile settings for user.

So, the date format is set by the language the user is logged on as. It isn't controlled by the events module at all. Therefore this will also change all other date formats (assuming the modules are coded correctly) for all other modules, including common ones such as the Forums.

Cheers
Roger
