Events module

I have 5 different events modules ("calendars") for each of the offices in my firm with the 5 being a "firm wide" calendar that lists all the events from the other 4 calendars but this is proving to have some coordination issues that I would like to solicit your advise.
Here is the problem: say there is an event that is orignating out of one office but is available to all office via video conferencing. If I add the event to each of the offices calendars they will all show up on the firm wide calendar. I need a way to be able to have it show up on all of the office's calendars without populating the firm wide calendar with each office's.

Re: Events module

If I understand you question correctly, this might be solved as follows:

  • Create a supporting calendar that hold the generic events for the offices
  • Put this calendar on a page that is not seen by the normal site visitor
  • Add the supporting calendar as subcalendar to all the 4 office calendars
