Number of Calendars

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me how many calendars I can have without degrading DNN on a single portal using on instance of DNN

I have a project that requires 15 calendars, E.g my area has training, rosters, and holidays and I have 5 areas with the same categories. I need each area to only view their own detail. Due to the limitations of the category selection I can not show training, rosters, and Holidays just five calendars as it will show all information from all areas. My question is how many single calender without the category selected can I show just incase the ares grow. If you could just select the categories using a tick box to display this calendar only would be great so it doesn't populat to the other calendars. Any other sugestions would be appricated.

Thanks

Buck

We currently have no experience how many calendars would degrade the performance. The amount of data per calendar and per event is not very large, so I see no reason why 15 calendars would not work.

Of course, your basic site hosting environment will influence site performance a lot.
