edit/delete events in ListView

A customer of us uses Events Module 03.03.08 @ DNN 04.05.01

The module is displayed on all pages to show the next 5 events (List View). They have a detail page which shows not only the 5, but all events. (also List View, "subcalendar").

Now I'm wondering where I can edit or delete Events? I can't find any "main Events Module" in calendar view or something.

Any idea?

Re: edit/delete events in ListView

Edit is available as a link at the bottom of the page in the detail view. Detail view is reached by clicking on the event name in any of the List/Month/Week/Day view. Delete is also available in the same place, as well as at the bottom of the edit page.

Cheers
Roger

By the way I would strongly recommend that you upgrade to the latest release of DNN (4.8.4) since there a number of security fixes. I know this may not by easy for various reasons, but I believe it should be a target. This will also allow you to run the latest Events module (4.0.1 or very shortly 4.0.2), which has many, many fixes as compared to 3.3.8.

Cheers

Re: edit/delete events in ListView

Okay thanks. We updated DNN Version as well as Events module (4.0.2), now it works to edit events.

Is it possible to deactivate the detail view without an error? They just want a list view with startdate and short description.

Re: edit/delete events in ListView

Currently it would require a code change, since this is set as a mandatory column. I would hope that you would get more flexibility with the templating of this view that is planned for v4.1.0

Cheers
Roger
