The calendar
If I understand the posts correctly, (there is a chance I don't) the new events module will replace the calendar.  My problem with the calendar is in the way it displays events.  I need to be able to insert an event time and have it automatically sort the events by time in order or occurance.  Will the events module do that?  Also, can someone tell me how to install the events module to my site which is currently hosted by GoDaddy?

Re: The calendar
The events module is installed just like any other module, that isn't any different for GoDaddy that another provider. I'd recommend trying it out on a local instance of DNN first just to check it out. If you want to see an example of the new Events module in action look at htttp://www.twincitytc.org/. There are summary calendars on the main page, and calendar formats on the race and social calendar pages.

Re: The calendar

I appreciate your response however I have no idea how to get the new event  module to replace the calendar module and import existing events.  Can someone tell me how to do that?  Furthermore, does the new event module allow for events to be sorted by time of occurance?  I am building a church web site and this is what the secretary really wants.  Thanks again

Re: The calendar

Now I assume when you say "calendar" module you're talking about the old avCalendar. If so, you install the new events module. I'd add it to the same page where your existing calendar is. Then you can use a menu option to import the calendar events. Then you can look at both and make sure it's the way you want. If so, you can delete the old calendar module from the page then delete the module form the site.

Yes, the event list sorts by time of occurance.

Hey there Keith, I like the site, is that yours?  If so, I'd like to ask you some questions :).
