Events Module Roadmap

SHORT TERM ROADMAP
-------------------------------
The below items will be added to the Events module by migrating over code from the Avanced AVCalendar 3.0 module (with some minor modifications)
- Improved Recurring Events (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, etc.)
- Improved List View of Calendar Events
- Master/Sub Calendars
- User Created Events (i.e Users can create and edit their own events but not others.
- Event Enrollment for allowing Authorized Roles (or Authenticated Users) to sign up for an event.  This includes the ability to setup "Paid" enrollments via PayPal. The paid enrollments will automatically authorize paid users to the event and track (in the database) their payments.
- Users can view their Enrollments
- Optional Moderation for New Events, Changes to Events, and Event Enrollment.  This feature includes the ability to email users a confirmation along with a vCalendar file for the event to import into Outlook or other PIM.

LONG TERM ROADMAP

4th Qtr 2005
-------------------------
-Event Categories (Possible core change)
-Multiple payment providers for enrollment (possible core change)

Re: Events Module Roadmap
That is still to be determined as some changes will happen. When we are ready to release we will make that determination based on what has changed.
