Re: Sorting/Moving questions up and down

I don't think there is a way.  If there is, maybe someone could enlighten me, as well.

Re: Sorting/Moving questions up and down

as far as i know, only sorting gives order to questions.

if you want the questions in an order, you have select the sorting that  puts newest question down and write the questions in order (if you realize that you made a mistake at 5th question and you have already written 20 questions, that will cause a little pain)

cheers,

t

Re: Sorting/Moving questions up and down

What about sorting alphabetically?

Work-around:

If you prefix each question with a ref, you will be able edit the ref and so manipulate the positioning of each question.
(not sure if it's alpha-numeric, but if it is and you could use ref# 10050, 10075, 10100, etc - this will give you more scope for inserting new questions in the middle)

If you have many questions - it is probably best organising them by have more FAQ modules - these are easier to shift about.

see this thread for alpha order:

Re: Sorting/Moving questions up and down

There is a 3rd party FAQ module (that I refer to as FAQ on Crack) that is available from Snowcovered for about $9.

It allows you to specify a sort order in addition to its other features.
