~ Critical Error in FAQs Module ~

Hi,

I have added the DAQs module to the top of my contents pane and whenever I try and add a new category I get the following error:

A critical error has occurred.
The state information is invalid for this page and might be corrupted.

And if I click on the 'Add New FAQ' link I get :

An error has occurred.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.PageLoadException: The state information is invalid for this page and might be corrupted. ---> System.Web.HttpException: The state information is invalid for this page and might be corrupted. ---> System.Web.UI.v13wstat3Exception: Invalid v13wstat3. Path: /DotNetNuke/Default.aspx ---> System.formatException: Invalid character in a Base-64 string. at System.Convert.FromBase64String(String s) at System.Web.UI.ObjectStateformatter.Deserialize(String inputString) at System.Web.UI.ObjectStateformatter.System.Web.UI.IStateformatter.Deserialize(String serializedState) at System.Web.UI.Util.DeserializeWithAssert(IStateformatter formatter, String serializedState) at System.Web.UI.HiddenFieldPageStatePersister.Load() --- End of inner exception stack trace --- --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at System.Web.UI.v13wstat3Exception.ThrowError(Exception inner, String persistedState, String errorPageMessage, Boolean macValidationError) at System.Web.UI.HiddenFieldPageStatePersister.Load() at System.Web.UI.Page.LoadPageStateFromPersistenceMedium() at System.Web.UI.Page.LoadAllState() at System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain(Boolean includeStagesBeforeAsyncPoint, Boolean includeStagesAfterAsyncPoint) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

The only thing I have done to my installation is add 'XepientSolutions.XSv13wstat3.v2.0', maybe this is effecting the way the FAQ modules view state is behaving.

Your advise would be appreciated.

Regards

Julian

Re: ~ Critical Error in FAQs Module ~

I removed 'XepientSolutions.XSv13wstat3.v2.0' from my DNN's web.config file and all is well know.

There must have been some kind of conflict, haven't got time to investigate but if anyone know how I can incorparate both please let me know.

Regards

Julian
