.JS file and DNN
Hi All,

I have created new dot net nuke module. In that the viewMyMod.ascx file references a java script file. The “Source” of viewMyMod.ascx is as follow:

/////
….
<%@ Register ….>

…….

type="button" value="Choose Site.." OnClick="PopupArea(event, 'divsitenames')" />
…..

/////

PopupArea() is the functino defined in jsSite.js. but when I click on button – “SiteList” it is not invoking the java script function.

Can any one please tell me what’s wrong here.

Please note that this .js file is in the same direcoty as viewMyMod.ascx.

My observations are:
1. in above sample code if instead of giving just a .js file name if I give whole path of .js file (e..g c:\MyProj\DesktopModules\MyMod\jsSite.js) then it will invoke “PopupArea()” function.
2. if I create a new simple ASP.net project and in “source” of .aspx file if I refere to .js file using above code; it work fine. I mean at button click it will invoke PopupArea() function.

Any help will be appricaiated.

Thanks.

Re: .JS file and DNN
Hi,

I don't know why in the above mail it's displaying

TEXTBOX and then type="button" value="Choose Site.." OnClick="PopupArea(event, 'divsitenames')" />

it was a html tag of type "input". ID of that is "SiteList" and other properties of that html control are: type="button" value="Choose Site.." OnClick="PopupArea(event, 'divsitenames')"

this is really urgent....please any reply...

Thanks.
