Re: Bug: Feedback shown across portals

Sanjay,

I am using version 04.04.01 and if I add more than one feedback module in the same site I get the same list of replies for both modules.

This isn't a HUGE problem in this instance but it might be on other sites where we allow different access levels for different areas of the site.

I am interested in testing the new beta, I'm not sure how to contact you offline. You can email me tthrough our website on http://www.ymonda.net/contact.aspx?CategoryID=24&selection=9

I'm particularlyinterested in the ability to relate email addresses to Categories.

Thanks

Re: Bug: Feedback shown across portals

With 4.4.2 you can separate the replies by categories so that the user sees only the categories that he/she is allowed to view....

Have you tried to get 4.4.2 via the 4.8.0 download?

I'll keep you posted as soon as I have 5.0 ready for beta testing...

Sanjay

Re: Bug: Feedback shown across portals

Sanjay,

I found another oddity on the feedback module. The "FROM" email address is taken from the SuperUser i.e. Host account. This seems a bit illogical, would it not make more sense to send from the selected Administrator?

Re: Bug: Feedback shown across portals

Is this in 4.4.1 or a newer version? In 4.4.3 for example, this is configurable. I just checked the prior versions and i believe the default was set to the Portal's admin email address - in your case could your host email and the admin email be the same that's why it's looking like it's from the host account?

Sanjay
