How to delete unwanted comments?

How to delete comments?

Also, comments are coming always in duplicate.

Re: How to delete unwanted comments?

Count me in on this question!

I set up a new site for someone last night and put in a few test feedback comments.  Now I can't for the life of me figure out how to clear that out.   I'm guessing it can probably be done with a SQL query but this is not practical for end users.

Granted, the "moderator" function could essentially make this (almost) a moot point, since you could block posts you don't want, but even then you'll probably want to perform some housekeeping in the module at times.

Am I missing something?

thanks!

Re: How to delete unwanted comments?

Yay! I got it, it's a crude way to do it, but try this (worked for me):

log in as host, goto the menu Host-->SQL

and run this script

DELETE FROM Feedback WHERE FeedbackID = 1

replace 1 with whichever number post you want to delete, so if you have 100 posts and don't want the very last post, replace it with 100, keep in mind, u can't undo the procedure...hope this helps
