How to remove the Footer / Container extra HR tag

My apologies for being a total noob. I'm using DNN 4.0.1 and the Text/HTML Module.

I have just a simple "our mission" type sentence that I'm displaying.

Even though I have nothing in Footer and I have the Print turned off, etc.

There is still a extra HR displayed at the bottom.

What can you do to get rid of it?

Re: How to remove the Footer / Container extra HR tag
Hi,
The Text/HTML module itself doesn't generate HR tags. My guess is that the line you're referring at, is part of the container you're using. Maybe you could try to turn "Show Container" of in module settings.

Re: How to remove the Footer / Container extra HR tag

Yeah.. you're correct it must be in the Container, because when I turn off the Container there is absolutely nothing else displayed except the Text that I have in the Module.

Is there any way to have the container not display the HR? It just seems really dorky to have the HR tag at the bottom, when there is nothing below it but an extra blank line space.

Re: How to remove the Footer / Container extra HR tag
Hi,
You can either use a different container or change the one you're using now and remove the HR from the <container>.ascx (or, if present, the html file).
You can find all about where to find your container and skin files in the Skinning documentation of DNN.

Good luck.

Re: How to remove the Footer / Container extra HR tag

Thanks!

You were correct! I went ahead and made a copy of the portals/_default/Containers/Image Header - White Background.ascx

When I first just removed the HR line it still had a blank whitespace row there. So, I had to also remove the extra Table Row and Cell and went ahead moved some of the action buttons to the Title line with the Help Action button.

Now if I could just figure out why the Modules aren't sizing to 100% of the LeftPane for example.

For some reason even though there's a module below it that does occupy 100% of the column the Text/Html module isn't.

Thanks again!
