underline function 

I´ve tried to use the underline function in the forum module. The first time it works. Saving it everything is fine. But wanting to edit the text right afterwards again,  the module decides for itself to show the following line in the text the common user reads:

NOTE: This file is [U]  read only and must not be edited!  [/U]

When I change it directly in the html-code <u> </u> it will not be accepted after having saved it.  As if nothing had ever changed anything. Again the line looks like:

NOTE: This file is [U]  read only and must not be edited!  [/U]

What can I do to fix this bug???
