Hey Guys, be happy: in DNN 4.7.0 the Design icon will finally vanish. There will be a metamorphose into a 3rd page mode radiobutton "Design", that shall make it easier to support users.

I'm experiencing the same issue with 4.9

Any idea why? The Edit Text menu option does not appear in either Edit or Design mode.

please do not post to very old threads, your issues may have a different cause, while the original one was solved and people might get mislead.

In your case, please restart the app (e.g. using command in Host Settings) and clear your browser cache.
