html / text module and all the rest of my modules
Modified By Lisa Smith on 11/4/2007 5:41:14 AM)

Update as of November 4th, 2007 5 am

Uhm, this morning I cleared my cache, restarted the application and everything was back to normal. Modules are all working correctly. That was wierd.

*************************************************************************************************************************8

I'm typing my issue here because I first noticed this issue with the html/text module.

I went into my site after not using it for a week and ALL the modules just have "import content" or "export content" as the ONLY available options!

Of course, I'm using the html/text module the most liberally while creating my site for my client, and noticed I didn't have any options except the import/export!

So after some settings checking (found nothing unusual) I uninstalled the html module and tried to see if anything worked again, and to no avail, still nothing.

So I downloaded the html/text module again, reinstalled, and still no changes.

Whats going on here? Is there some bug in the 04.06.00 version ?

Odd that I didn't work on my project for a week, came back, logged in and it's freaked out!

I checked my database log files, dates. times, it's all very wierd. I'm glad I haven't worked on my project so much that I will lose all my information, because I'm going to have to go back in time to the 4.5 because I didn't have any problems with that build.

I wish that if a release has all these bugs in it, that it's released as "beta" and not a full release.

Of course, I could be missing something so please offer any advice if possible.

OH, the other problem was that I checked "whitespace" setting and it broke the app. I had to go into the database and change the setting to N. But this was AFTER the modules broken issue.

Thanks -
