Which version of HTML/Text has tags?

I'm running dotnetnuke 4.6.2 and from various posts I have read they suggest that version 4.6.0 of HTML/Text module comes with this version. I see only version 3.3.0 of Text/HTML installed on my installation in my module definition list. I see verion 4.8.1 is available for upload but I'm assuming I would have to upgrade dnn to 4.8.2 as well? I am new to dnn and my installation is hosted by a 3rd party (ie. I cannot test out the new version prior to going live) so I am hesitant to upgrade. Is Text/HTML 4.6.0 available somewhere? Will Text/HTML work on my 4.6.2 server?

All I want to do is display the user's name on the page. Is this the only way of doing it?

Thanks for any suggestions, solutions, or workarounds!

Re: Which version of HTML/Text has tags?

download install package of DotNetNuke and extract Text/HTML installation package out of the /install/module folder inside the zip. You can upload the package using "Install new module" command in Host >> Module Definitions menu item. Text/HTML 4.6.2 supports most of the TokenReplace features of 4.8.1, though the list of supported tags has been extended in DNN 4.7.x and 4.8.x
