HTML/Text Module: Posting form Data to SecurePay

Hi,

Over last few days I have learned that the HTML/Text Module does not allow form tag. I have found some javascript solution (doing this.form.submit after removing the form tag) to post my form's data to SecurePay. All fine so far except that the Store page needs to have multiple items on the same page and SecurePay is expecting each item to be contained in a separate form. Well, if there are more than one items on the Store page the hidden values don't get passed along to SecurePay, thus generting errors.

Any other way I can do that? You can see the form on the Store page at http://www.southeastfirerescue.com

Please help: This has me stuck for a while.

Thanks,

Re: HTML/Text Module: Posting form Data to SecurePay

in fact this is not a limitation of the text/html module, but a general HTML limitation. You simply are not allowed to nest forms. Since the complete DotNetNuke page is a form, you cannot put another form somewhere on a DNN page

you would either need to create your own module that posts to securePay, or you could look at one of the available form modules that allow you to post to external sites

Re: HTML/Text Module: Posting form Data to SecurePay

Erik,

Thank you. Well, problem is that if there only one item on the page then javascript does post the data correctly. But if there are more than one items then, by looking at Service Magic's output, both forms are being posted, resulting in double hidden values of productid and hence error at SecurePay. I think I am closer to finding a solution but it is not there yet.

Thanks,
