textbox not displayed 

I am working on a new install and have never come accross this befor.  When I try to edit the text or html content using the rich text editor or the basic editor the textbox does not display. All of the buttons (bold, hyperlink, image ect) display fine. There is just no box in which to type.

Any help would be appreciated.

maybe your skin is too narrow and all the icon bars hide the content? try to hide the icons.

Thanks but thats not it.  My skin is 1000 px. and the text editor works on other sites using the same skin.

maybe there is an issue with the toolbar display. Enter advanced Editor Options and reset the toolbars.
