Control position of images

Hi

I have some difficulties in positioning when I insert images in Text/HTML module.

When I insert images, the text is moving, so I cannot get what I want.

Am I missing something? Could anybody let me know how I can solve this problem?

Thanks in advance,

Re: Control position of images

I am having the same/similar problems with the Text/HTML module.  I can't seem to get anything, excpet for text that I type in manually to display properly.  There doesn't seem to be an editing features for an inserted graphic within this module unless I'm missing the boat???

I'm new to DNN.

Nadine

Re: Control position of images

simple positioning can be done using html

see sites like http://codepunk.hardwar.org.uk/bhtmlx15.htm

you can also control positioning thru css

see sites like http://www.yourhtmlsource.com/stylesheets/csslayout.html#floatingelements

and of course you could use tables but there are some css zealots who would break the two fingers I type with for suggesting that

for more info try searching  for html image positioning in google

Re: Control position of images
if you just insert an image, text is continued at the bottom line to the right. you can use "align=left" for the image, to allow text to the right and you can add a table and insert the image in it for further positioning. Notice, that FCK editor allows more positioning and table options via UI, you can get with free DNN provider it from dnn.tiendaboliviana.com.
