Salesforce.com Web-To-Lead Issue [REPLY]
Hi Shane,

What exactly do you mean by "wonky"? Just plugged the code (as far as I can determine from your post) into DNN and saw that DNN seems to not function anymore to postback type events. Is this what you mean by wonky?

If so, I'm guessing the presence of the hidden __v13wstat3 field is interfering with DNN's __v13wstat3 as it's an ASP.NET based site and relies on this hidden field for important state information. Can you remove the one from the salesforce.com code?

Hope this helps?

P.S. I've had to post this reply as a seperate thread as the same phenomena you report has also affected the dotnetnuke.com forum page you posted the code to so preventing me from replying to your thread directly.

DNN Team - Maybe this issue is worth raising with the html/text or core module development team (detecting the presence of form code within html that includes a hidden __v13wstat3 field)?

In my opinion it might be part of the Texteditor provider to prevent "forbidden" html tags to be entered. Preferably the provider could be used in "safe" mode or "unsafe", whereas unsafe would allow you any kind of html.

I'm sure we'll take it into consideration.

Re: Salesforce.com Web-To-Lead Issue [REPLY]
gavinharriss,

You nailed it on the head. Since my post, there have been some projects on snowcovered to handle integration with Salesforce.com. I agree that this would be worth a look by the core team to avoid this behavior in the future or at least provide a work around.
