Unhandled error loading module. - when click Edit Text (module Text/Html) 

 

Please help me. my portal is http://chiase.mpi.gov.vn.

it operates normally until yesterday, but now it's wrong

i tried installing netframework 2.0 again, but it can only run no long time, now i can not use module text/html.  The following error is received from clicking Edit text.

My guess is that this might be related to the curlly quote issue that was discussed a while back.

Have a look at the source for this module and ensure that the quotes around the value for runat are standard quotes and not the curly ones.

Any idea how to remove a broken/Unhandled error loading module module from a page when there are no longer UI handles to select DELETE?

I understand that you shouldn't uninstall a module because it further agrevates the problem, but the broken module needs to be removed from a page. Even if you recommendation calls from direct sql table editing to resolve the issue, that's good for me.  You can't use the SETTINGS UI with the module is in the throw-error state.

I would love to have this one answered.  I have used DNN since release 1 but have not solved this one, nor do any other form entries address it.

Mostly the problematic file is named "texteditor.ascx" and is located at dnnroot/controls/texteditor.ascx. The problem is the quotation marks on line 9 or 10. They appear to be "curly" or "slanted" and tend to be of a bolder font than standard double quotes when viewed in Notepad. Here is an example:

<td id=”celTextEditor” Runat=”server”>

These quote marks should appear as this:

<td id="celTextEditor" Runat="server">

It is a bit hard to see in this font but they stand out very easily when this control file is viewed using Notepad.
