I'm not sure if this is the place to ask this or not, but here it is:

I have uploaded some files to a directory in my portal with an FTP client.  I want to add a link to them in the Text/HTML module.  There is a dropdown that has a list of files you can select from, but this is only if you uploaded them with the file manager because it puts them in the table.  Is there a way to have it detect new files and add to the database, or would I just have to add them manually to the DB?

I also suggest to go into host settings and enable "Auto sync", this will show up new / altered / deleted files automatically, while for new / modified / deleted folders you will continue to need to perform a manual sync.

Is there anywhere else I could post this if no one in this section knows the answer?
