Re: Inserting Our Own Page

how do you want to integrate the page into your web-site? there are 3 options:

  1. if it is a static page, copy the content into a text/HTML module, this will display the page within a container in the surrounding DNN page
  2. if it is a dynamic page (form, etc:) you can use an IFrame module to display it within a container in the surrounding DNN page
  3. you can link to your page from the menu by uing the redirection option (at the end of the settings page), this will launch your externam page in full window, i.e. you might need to provide a back link on that page or a menu redirecting to your DNN portal if needed.

Re: Inserting Our Own Page

thank you for your reply.

from what u have explained to me, it's seems like to me that if I want to add some page that designed ourselve, it must sit under the container either Text/HTML module or IFrame module.

how about if i got a form and i designed it by myself and i want to integrate with DNN, but to navigate to the form is from the portal. how can i use the data entered in that form to be used in DNN portal?

thank you..

Re: Inserting Our Own Page

if you want to include a form and store the results in the DNN database, either use one of the existing 3rd party forms modules, use UserDefinedTable or create a custom module.
