Salesforce.com Web-To-Lead Issue
Modified By Stefan Kamphuis on 2/15/2006 5:55:13 PM)

Hello all,

SuperSKa: I editted the page because the second form tag was preventing replies from being posted.

I am having issues getting the DNN Text/HMTL module to cooperate with teh HMTL code generted by Salesforce.com for their Web-to-Lead forms. I have tested this with a normal HTML page and everything works fine. Plug it into DNN and it goes wonky. (technical term for it not working) Below is the code that Salesforce.com provides. Plug this into the module and you should be able to duplicate what I am seeing.

<form action=http://www.salesforce.com/servlet/servlet.WebToLead?encoding=UTF-8 method=post>
<BR><BR><BR><BR><INPUT type=hidden value=00D300000000w3q name=oid><BR><INPUT type=hidden value=http://www.dotnetnuke.com name=retURL><BR><BR>First Name: <INPUT id=first_name maxLength=40 name=first_name><BR><BR><BR>Last Name: <INPUT id=last_name maxLength=40 name=last_name><BR><BR><BR><INPUT type=submit value="Submit Query" name=submit><BR><BR></form><BR><BR>

Any help would be great.

Thanks,
Shane

Re: Salesforce.com Web-To-Lead Issue

Hi,

There are previous posts on this matter, please use the search function.

As to your problem: your code contains a form tag which results in a form tag wthin a form tag. That can't be done, browsers will fail to submit the form I think.

Hope this helps at least a little.
