Where is the text stored?
I have an installation that has hopelessly crashed and I need to rebuild a new site. I would like to be able to capture the data that I had entered into Text/HTML modules. I have looked intot he TextHTML table in the database but the test data does not appear to be there, just <Long Text> placemarkers. Where in the database can I find the datat?

Re: Where is the text stored?
Well, it actually is in the place of your <Long Text> placemarkers. Appearently the tool you're working with (Enterprise manager?) doesn't display the long texts, but replaces them with "<Long Text>". The text itself is in the DesktopHtml field. Try using the Query Analyzer for example and you'll see for yourself.

...and if you are using enterprise manager...

click the sql button while looking at that result set. copy the sql that generated that result...

click tools....query analyzer, paste in your sql, the press F5 or "run" button.

...you can also make the results display as text rather than in a grid if that's what you got...also, in the settings for query analyzer, set it to return more than the default if it is cut off

...in case you're new to qa. :)
