Visitors/members

Hey All-

I just installed the Users online module and i have a rediculously easy question for you - What is the difference between visitors and members?  I'm currently showing a higher visitor number than members.  I'm concerned because this is supposed to be a secure intranet site that should not have any annonymous visitors at all.  If "visitors' are anonymous users and "members" are registered users, then I am in trouble...

Thanks for any help on this...

Fritz

Re: Visitors/members

visitors are users, not logged in when looking at any page of the portal. Also make sure, you frequently run the appropriate schedule job to clear the number.

Re: Visitors/members

OK - Thanks.  So any page would include people parked on the login screen.  We requested our users to make the intranet their browser's homepage, so the higher number of visitors must be people who have started their browser but not logged in.
