passing username in the iframe parameter for form authentication? 

I have an app that uses form authentication. I am displaying it through an iframe into our DNN portal. Can or has anyone used the query parameters within the iframe module settings to pass the userid from dnn to the app in the iframe  for authentication? Any assistance would be appreciated.
