adding doctype disable auto height in firefox

I use transitional doctype like below because It is the only way to make my menu dropdown working.

<SkinDocType><![CDATA[<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">]]></SkinDocType>

After adding this doctype, the auto height no longer working in firefox but in IE auto height working.

Re: adding doctype disable auto height in firefox

Very interesting. I'll keep it in mind as I am working on the next version of IFrame module.

Re: adding doctype disable auto height in firefox

Can you confirm the existing of this problem? If this is Iframe limitation then I could continue my other development. if you do not see this problem, I will debug my skin again. Thank for your help . :)

Have you tried xhtml transitional? .. it is the more correct transitional doctype, I wouldnt really call loose.dtd a transitional doctype.
