Passing Querystring to asp form

Hi there,

I have a small page that handles some newsletters that is being Iframed into a DNN site. The page is working just fine and sending out the emails that it should. However when a user registers for a newsletter, a link is generated in the mail so that he can unsuscribe to the newsletter. This link is currently just redirecting him to the actual asp site, but I'd like for it to redirect him to the iframed site. Now the problem herein lies that when I do that the necessary query string that he must have to be able to unsubscribe is not passed down to the asp site. I have tried using the various Query String options (currently a Pass-Through Query-String with "" value) that resides in the properties of the iframe, but to no succes. I can "View Source" after the page has been rendered and see that the querystrings actually are there, but the values are wrong they are all still the same "" or &

I may be just thinking in the wrong paths but would be nice if someone could help me :)

Re: Passing Querystring to asp form

set a value for your querystring parameter:

Example:
url of you dnn tab id: http://example/tabid/4711/default.aspx?outerparam=1234

You want to pass the outer querystring parameter myparam to the url in the iframe
http://newsletterserver/bulkmail.asp?innerparam=1234

You would need to add a query string parameter named innerparam with the value "outerparam"

forms & Lists (UDT5.0) will be the next major release of the User Defined Table project.
A first Preview is available, though it requires DotnetNuke 5 (Beta 5).
