How to use Onload

I want to use the onload javacsript for the iframe but cannot get it to work. All I want to do is include a javascript statement like: document.formname.fieldname.value = 'string value';

I've tried everything imaginable and cannot get it to work. Including the above statement in the provided box doesn't work. Do  I need to include
<script language="javascript" type="text/javascript"> document.formname.fieldname.value = 'string value' <!-- // --></script> in this field or what?

Any example would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a bunch, John

onload field takes just the javascript statement - so, all you have to type in there is document.formname.fieldname.value = 'string value'

Question, though, are you sure your javascript is correct? Does it work outside of onload event of iframe?

Also, are you trying to target the page in IFrame? In that case the javscript needs to be different.
