ask again

imean something like that:

linking from tab 1:

http://..........tabixx/default.aspx?=[a rendered url]

you go to:

http.............tabixx/default.aspx

and the iframe module opens [a rendered url] ?

If that the case it's great and i'd like to ask how to it.

thanks again.

Re: ask again

What you can do is:

1. Have a link on some page that looks like this:  http://mysite.com/default.aspx?tabid=123&my_param=somevalue

2. On a page (formerly known as tab) with tabid 123, have an IFrame module that expects a QueryString parameter called my_param (you set it in IFrame Options page).

3. When you click that link, it'll take you to the page with tabid=123 and create an IFrame on that page with some url that has my_param=somevalue

If you wanted to pass the actual URL as a dynamic parameter, the core module is going to have that but not just yet.

Ok , i understand the concept, and i tried with the syntex (1)

http://.................................&my_param=http://www.nukedesigners.com

So it loaded the tab but it didn't change  the iframe source.

i've only added my_param as name in the other options.

can you give me more details please?

thanks.

Re: ask again

In the iframe above, this is the fixed part of the url:

http://gmodules.com/ig/creator?synd=open&url=http%3A//www.takeslides.com/Portals/_default/Skins/takeslides/scripts/jGGESS.aspx

and this is the additional part which of course will be rendered with a different feed url each link, (depends on where you're coming from [CUSTOM:RSS]):

http://feed.photobucket.com/images/the%20simpsons/feed.rss
