I am not sure why it will not allow URLs like http://weather.msn.com/local.aspx?wealocations=wc:USAK0133 it seems useless or pointless at best; what am I missing?

I fixed the validator by replacing it with "^(http|https)\://[a-zA-Z0-9\-\.]+\.[a-zA-Z]{2,3}(/\S*)?$"; this is not as restrictive as the default validator but allows unfriendly URLs that are valid
