Re: Using links to refresh Iframe
Ok, i just realized i needed to have the Iframe in the HTML with the table. I was trying to place it on a separate pane. I have it up and running now. Thanks so much for the help.

Re: Using links to refresh Iframe
I'm not sure I follow you. You don't need to have an <iframe> tag within the HTML module. Having an IFrame module on the same page is all you really need.

Re: Using links to refresh Iframe

Michael

I'm trying to do the same thing with an Iframe.  I want the target for links in an html/text module to be the iframe on the same page, but in a separate pane.  When I set the target for the links to the title of the iframe, the document opens up in a new window as opposed to the iframe.  Does the iframe module have to be in the same pane as text/html module.  It's a simple link that I'm setting up.

Can you provide me with some steps as to how this can be done?

Thanks.

Re: Using links to refresh Iframe
I have the exact same problem: Refresh a IFrame on the same page but differenet pane with a link. It opens a completely new browser window. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Using links to refresh Iframe
This one's pretty straight forward; much as Michael Flanakin indicated.

I have it working in a DNN 4.03.04.

1.  Create a page,

2.  Add an Iframe Module

2.1  Name the IFrame (I did it specifically I.e. "IFrameformyPage" rather than just "IFrame"),

2.2  Add a URL for a default offsite page, onsite page or file, or leave it blank,

3.  Use the built in Text/HTML module (in your choice of pane),

3.1  Add a link in the Text/HTML module (edit the HTML to add the target):

<a href="
MyPageURL" target="IFrameformyPage">My IFramed Page</a>

UPDATE the page, click your link and smile.

It's AnotherOpus ;^)
