IFrame URLs

What is the workaround for the "Please provide a valid url" error I get everytime I do not include the www . I am trying to point to a C# web app on the same server and it wont load. It previously worked in my 2.12 install. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it

Re: IFrame URLs
This may be related to a bug logged in Gemini about the regular expression not allowing IP addresses to be entered in the URL field (also no www.).  I will test this scenario when I upload the fixes for the 3 bugs total in Gemini for the Iframe module - my first roadmap item.

As for a workaround, you could try disabling the regex w/ ID "valURL" in the EditIframe.ascx file within the Desktopmodules folder.

Re: IFrame URLs

Taken fromhttp://forums.asp.net/1047780/ShowPost.aspx and from  http://forums.asp.net/1032718/ShowPost.aspx

Simply change validationexpression into validationexpression="^((http|https)\://)?(([a-zA-Z0-9\-\.]+\.[a-zA-Z]{2,3})|(localhost))(:\d+)?/?[a-zA-Z0-9\-\._\?\,\'/\\\+\&\;%\$#\=~]*[^\.\,\)\(]*$"

Thanks for saving me the time of researching that one Mitch!  I updated the Gemini bug item with your comment.

Re: IFrame URLs

This looks like the same problem I am getting. It won't let me type in more than filename.html

If I try to add more in front of that I get the error message.

Then it looks for http://filename.html when it should be ... whatever

So where is this validationexpression that can be changed?

Stapes
