IFrame new feture request

I've modified the IFrame module to pass the UserID, PortalID, FullName and IsSuperUser as a URL Parameters.

I did this modification to allow me to integrate DNN 3.1.1 with existing old ASP applications on my employer intranet.

I think it will be a good idea to mak this as an option in the IFrame core module.

Re: IFrame new feture request

I have had to make a similar modification, in my case I pass the UserName and Password on the URL but I encrypt them so they don't show in clear text.

It would be nice to have choices in the settings so that you can choose what gets included as URL parameters and weather or not they are encrypted.

I would also like to see an option the will resize the iFrame once it loads so that it does not contain an extra set of scroll bars on the page.

Re: IFrame new feture request
Those are both great ideas, and I will make sure they get added to the roadmap for the second release of the Iframe module (release one will be all bug fixes).  I would tend to agree with the encryption on the URL - especially if username/password are being rendered in clear text.

Re: IFrame new feture request

Another addition I would like to add along this line is the ability to pass an email address in the URL.  For example:

www.somedomain.com/index.php?usermail=userid@somemail.com

It currently dies with the @ symbol.

Cheers
Dave
