Re: How to disable the play event during start up

Jos,

I'm doing the EXACT same thing! And the media module automatically starts a quicktime app when I upload the mp3 (I have no idea what it will do on other browsers/settings.) I'm using this to build a band site too. (Maybe that is why MySpace was such a big hit with bands because the media player was so easy?)

Site is going to debut at www.jessicaprouty.com.

Currently at www.jessicaprouty.com/jphome until it launches.

You should see the mp3 hack I used in the gallery.

I'd love to see your site!

Best,

Katherine

Re: How to disable the play event during start up

Please fix this so non-coding users can use this module.  It really seems useless to me without the ability to turn off autostart.

I agree.  Otherwise, is there another possibly better media module option?

Re: How to disable the play event during start up

I can't find the file:  mediamodule.ascx.vb

I'm running the current DNN version and all the modules are up to date (however, I did start with an early version and have continued to upgrade).  How do I find this file?  My host (portalwebhosting.com) make the changes for me, but he could not find the file.  Any suggestions?

Can someone please lead me to this file or whichever is the current version of the file?
